Philosophy
Beauty, measure, relationship
Charmides was a young Athenian celebrated for his extraordinary beauty. Plato dedicated the dialogue Carmide, in which beauty becomes the starting point for a reflection on sophrosyne: measure, balance and self-mastery.
It is precisely this meeting of beauty and measure that inspires CARMIDE. Classical heritage is not simply reproduced: it is reinterpreted to recover immediacy, autonomy and character in contemporary interiors.
Every project grows from this balance between memory and innovation: reinterpreting, completing or transforming the figure so that it finds a natural relationship with a wall, a piece of furniture, a perspective, light and, above all, the people who encounter it every day.

A contemporary process.
Every project begins with the study of the figure, its proportions and the way it will be perceived. Digital modelling, tests and prototypes allow us to evaluate form, balance, perspective and the relationship with the surrounding space.
The process continues through manual work, finishes and details: technology and craftsmanship work together to transform a model into a finished object.
